Plumbing, Carpentry and Painting

Sinks, toilets, showers, hot and cold water, and drainage systems are maintained by Facilities Management on a routine basis at no charge. Staff and faculty may create an Archibus work request if they wish to identify items requiring repair.

Departments that require additional water and drainage services related to equipment installations should create an Archibus work request. Work of this nature will be chargeable and estimates are available upon request. Requests involving major plumbing modifications, extension to existing services or new services will require investigation.

An Archibus work request should also be created for any maintenance concerns requiring carpentry services. Departments may request non-maintenance carpentry services which includes the installation of items such as shelves, cabinets, display units, etc. Availability of these services is based on current workload and are charged to the requesting department.

Painting of building exteriors/interiors is coordinated by Facilities Management. When an individual department requires painting for reasons other than general maintenance, an estimate will be provided and the service will be paid for by the requesting department.
