Facilities Management will perform most minor repairs to furniture at no charge to the user’s department. Costs will be charged to the requesting department when repairs involve the purchase of parts for office systems. Please submit an Archibus work request for any minor furniture repairs.
Facilities Management does not assemble furniture (e.g. flat pack/ready-to-assemble furniture which is typically made of low quality materials). For guidance on furniture purchases and UBC-approved furniture suppliers, please consider contacting the Facilities Planning department.
