Floor Coverings and Floor Care

Facilities Management will provide floor coverings and floor maintenance. If floor coverings pose a safety hazard, they will be replaced at the expense of Facilities Management.  All repair requests should be reported by creating an Archibus work request.

Where upgrading is for aesthetic purposes, the requesting department will be required to create a chargeable work request, and the work will be charged to their account accordingly.

Please do not attempt to clean up any spills (e.g. coffee, coloured carbonated drinks, milk, etc.) that could cause potential damage to flooring – all spills should be reported to Facilities Management by submitting a Custodial Request Form.
